
Will is committed to evidence-based practice and advancing surgical practice through research.
He is an Associate Professor of Surgery at Mayo Clinic, with a focus on improving the delivery of colorectal care. Current research projects include optimisation of surgeon performance, presacral tumors, recurrent rectal cancer, robotic colorectal surgery and global surgery.
He is an invited speaker at several major conferences on topics covering rectal cancer, presacral tumors, rectal prolapse, recurrent rectal prolapse and the microbiome.
